Libby Teale

Libby had been doing Pilates for 15 years before she took the plunge to become an instructor and leave her marketing career. She originally took up Pilates to build core strength when she was rowing. Libby never became a champion rower, but she did fall in love with the Pilates method.

A mum of three, Libby did Pilates during (and after) her three pregnancies and it now helps her chase after her three girls. She is passionate about how Pilates can help women throughout their lives, especially during the prenatal and postnatal period- preparing the body for childbirth and supporting the recovery process.

As a working mum, she understands how challenging it is to find time to exercise which is how she fell in love with barre – a fun and time efficient workout that gives you the benefits of a Pilates workout and a cardio workout.

Libby is passionate about developing good movement patterns and being able to take Pilates off the mat and out into real life. Having seen the benefits first-hand of pre and post-natal Pilates she is keen to ensure other women can keep exercising safely and maintain their strength.
